General Information:
The LIC clubhouse building and property are located at 4312 Key Peninsula Highway South across the highway from the Longbranch Fire Station. The Longbranch Marina which is managed and maintained by LIC is located further south at 5213 Key Peninsula Highway.

Board Meetings are held at the LIC clubhouse on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. General Membership Meetings are held at the same place on the third Wednesday of each month. The Membership Meetings alternate between a potluck meeting (begins 6:30 p.m.) and a dessert meeting (begins 7:00 p.m.).

Members are encouraged to attend a minimum of three General Membership Meetings every year. Meetings held during odd months (e.g. Jan., Mar., May, etc.) are traditionally considered "dessert" meetings while meetings held in even months (Feb., Apr., etc.) are "potluck" meetings.

Members are encouraged to perform a minimum of fifteen hours of volunteer service per year for LIC sponsored functions, and a great variety of functions are available. Indeed, LIC thrives as a result of a significant program of volunteer work. LIC urges members to initiate inquiries about opportunities for volunteer service. Watch for announcements in the newsletter and contact the person coordinating the activity directly. For more detailed information call the Membership Chairman.

Once each month LIC generates a news-packed newsletter which is mailed to all members. The mailing label of each member's copy of the newsletter will display the recorded number of volunteer hours and general meetings attended (H and M). Members are encouraged to contribute items of interest for placement in the newsletter .

The Longbranch Improvement Club is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Longbranch Marina moorage facility. LIC provides permanent moorage for qualified members, and also an important facility for guest boaters. Interested members can contact the LIC Dock Chairman for additional information.
